Oceanfront cottage, Summer Cove is nestled on the shores of the Northumberland Strait, said to be the warmest waters North of the Carolinas. The cottage is 9 years old, 1000 square feet and is an open concept design, tastefully decorated. From the covered porch, the entry door leads into the main level which contains a bedroom, furnished with double bed; a four piece bathroom; laundry/storage room; and the combined living, dining room and kitchen, which boasts cathedral ceilings, sky lights, pine flooring and walls, along with a panoramic view of the ocean. A spiral staircase leads to the loft, with sleeping quarters containing 2 double beds. Patio doors from the living room lead to the ocean front deck, equipped with patio furnishings and BBQ.

Everything you need in a home away from home: Microwave,

fridge, stove, washer/dryer, satellite TV; stereo (CD, DVD) and water cooler. All you need to bring is food, towels & personal belongings.

There are many recreational facilities near by to enjoy, including - Provincial sandy beaches (with lifeguards during the months of July and August) within 8 km; 3 golf courses - Northumberland Links (8km), Fox Harbour (25 km) and Amherst (50 km); 6 km to the quaint village of Pugwash with the renowned Thinkers Lodge and Seagull Pewter factory and gift shop, within 1 hour to Moncton with Magic Mountain, Crystal Palace and Magnetic Hill; within 1 hour to Confederation Bridge to P.E.I. and 1&1/2 hour to Halifax. Close to 2 International Airports (Moncton & Halifax) and the Trans Canada Highway.
